CB750F seat cowl rubber supports
« on: August 16, 2016, 05:31:58 PM »
I recently bought a cowl off eBay that is missing the two rubber supports on the bottom. These are NLA and there are none on eBay. What have folks replaced em with? #77211-392-000 for F0/F1 or #77211-410-000 for F2/F3.

If it's worth doing, it's worth doing twice.

These bits. I'd use these but they're pretty hard and I'm quite sure I'd ruin them if I tried to remove 'em from this cowl.

Try a hair dryer/heat gun to soften them?

Assuming that the rest of the rubber seat supports are in place, do these simply protect the cowl itself or do they offer support to the seat in general?

I'm missing one too.
I don't think they carry weight from the seat. More so to keep cowl square and prevent rattle/vibrating.
Very interested if anyone knows of a replacement.

Bramma's got it...I rode a f bike missing these for a while.  No harm done but lots of rattling from the back over bumps.
If it works good, it looks good...

The seat may rock back and forth without them.
