Is this possible?  It looks like the oil passageways line up.  The only differance on the k4 jugs is the 8 additional oring to prevent oil leaks.

I can't see why not, if the oil passages line up. I would at least get both surfaces decked/trued. Although I haven't personally done it, I can't think of any issues.

When Big Jay did my jugs for the 1000 kit he installed aluminum slugs into the holes eliminating the dowels basically making early jugs that went on a 78 K engine. 
As of today 3/13/2012 my original owner 75 CB750F has made it through 3 wives, er EX-wives. Free at last.  ;-)
