Any one know how to get a DATE OF MANUFACTURE EVIDENCE cert? without going via honda. they say they will have to contact JAPAN and it will take 6 WEEKS to get the info and £30.00....... has HONDA UK never heard of email?

I would think that being able to get any information from any company regarding anything they manufactured ~40+ years ago would be amazing no matter the cost or how long it took.

So the date on the VIN plate is not enough for the local authorities?
