Just picked up a beautiful bike, of course when it gets home notice it... 

Smoke coming from the one of 2 exhaust.
There is a little bit of "putting." It seems to run good enough. Smoke seems to happen when I let go of the throttle. Research suggests it's a valve problem.

Any idea of cost or difficulty to do myself would be awesome.
The 900c is the same as the cb750 except bored out.

Ps I put a bunch of seafoam in my gas but that wouldn't explain only one side smoking.
I can take a better look when Its daylight.

I have a cb900c in the shop  for repair. was a  Compression test done? should be 150 psi. Valves are a pain to do as access to shims is necessary if clearance is off. Carbs could need to be cleaned if bike was sitting.  the 900 is quite the cruiser when running correctly...Larry

Dude I love it now, even with it running a little ruff. It's an awesome and interesting ride. Taking it to a shop tomorrow.
