Hi everyone-

I havre gotten a lot of good info from your forum before so I thought I should register. My current 72 CB750 was purchased for 500 bucks so it has its share of bugs to work out. This is my third SOHC- I've had a 550 and and CB750 F also. (as well as a cool 70's honda trials bike that I crashed and a nightmare 350 Jawa) Anyway, I do whatever I can to keep my bike out of the hands of the local mechanic so I get a lot ofgrease under my nails trying to keep this  bike happy and running. Still better than a car anyday!

Welcome, Odge.  It sounds that you are no stranger to SOHC4's.  You'll fit right in. :)

Thamks for the welcome! I live in Northern California, so riding is on and off with winter coming. I love being on a bike again so it has to be raining pretty hard before I give in and drive the tin box. I need to get some good wet weather gear! My bike is pretty rusty which is ok with me as long as everything works like it should. I am trying to resist breaking the bank with cool parts- I need to pace out my budget so I can get the essentials like a new chain, tires, oil etc. When my finances improve, I will try to restore the glory of my $500 special.  :)

Running is the most important part for a bike.  ;D

So where in NorCal are you at there Odge? I'm in Modesto. There are a few more of us over in the bay area. Out here in the valley,its all Harleys & sport bikes. I pull up to a light and people stare like I was from Mars or something. I go to the bay area and see alot more classic bikes. Anyhow....welcome and post up where you live...might hook up for a putt if you're not too far away.
