proper basket case

this is a wreck i bought for 99 british pounds. i have two other projects on the bench at the moment so this one is just sitting there. i've removed the engine and liberally brushed it with diesel (great stuff!) and one by one the bolts and screws are loosening off.

That's a dead ringer for the roller I picked up a couple years back, but just a little bit dirtier.

i guess youre right. i have a couple of them too! my current projects...  more popular in the uk as they were built and sold here. one is a 'phil read replica' and the other is a 'honda britain' both based on the 750 f2

nothing at this point as i have too much on. however, as i have an hour for lunch break every day, i try to strip a little of the engine at a time using diesel, heat and patience. nothing snapped or rounded so far!

what we should do is make a forum dedicated to the baskets that we build. i mean Dino wins already. his was literaly in baskets, and boxes an baggies. but here's am alaskan basket i am working on.
