78' 750 SS near completion.
« on: July 21, 2016, 02:55:02 PM »
I have finally got the "old girl"up and running. Removed carbs 3 times, replaced float needles, cleaned 3 plugged slow jets, replaced petcock, plus other odds and ends. And I have to say "it runs very well". I think it will be a fun "1 up" rider for myself. thanks to this forum I felt confident in all my repairs. Look out M-22 here I come.

Went on another "local" rip. And I must say this bike rips. The last cb I owned was a 84' S. And I am totally empressed with this 78". Pulls hard all the way to the 9500 "Redline". There is a little bit of front wooble, but I will fix that. Awesome.
