Got a cheap deal (free) on a 78 cb750 frame.  Anybody know how similar it is to a 76 or earlier?  If it's not the same or cry similar, I have no use for it and I'll give it to my neighbor.   Anybody know ?

Same length at the back as an F model frame {2 inches longer than early K frame}, different rake to early K frames, 2 degrees more I think,  they have more in common with the F frames than the K frames. Seat mounts may also be different... ;)

Rear peg mounts look different. F,s have sidestand further back..
Some 78 have different. Front left motormount.. ..detachable ..
Left shock mount is longer or further out.. Good frame to run if you want wider tires.

Thanks guys.   One thing I was hoping for is:  The frame has a really nice rear fender.  I was hoping to swap it onto my daily rider.   Fender looks almost the same - side mounting points look similar.  Top mounts are different, but look like they may actually could work.

The late frames use a nice taillights the K model, looks closer to K1 and older.
I am all for picking the parts that you like most to make a bike the way YOU want it..
