I'd stick with my first true love, the Harley Fat Boy. Heck, I still want one, might eventually buy one when I either get rich or end up selling my current ones. If I had to pick an import, I'd love to restore and ride an Ariel Square Four (Squariel).

The Square Four was my late father's dream bike. He was a Brit bike guy having owned a rigid framed hotrod BSA Goldstar in the early 1960's when he was in college.

Kawasaki H2

Closest I came was having a F-11 for a while. It was cool, for the novelty. But it was a dog on the road and heavy and unwieldy off road. Eventually I'll get either a H1 or H2 as I'd really like a two stroke street bike. Maybe an RD400 as they're easier to find and not priced to the moon.

My dad's fav was the Czech JAWA 250, which eventually lost out to the Vespa due to better fuel economy. I see a few mentions of Vincents too, for a dream bike, I'd have to say one of the original 68 Vincent HRDs would be super nice!

I've ridden bikes most of my life.  The last 20+ years on Harleys with no issues.  Then a little over a year ago, I had this urge to buy a second bike, a Honda 750/4 or a BMW.  As evidence that I"m replying to this question, I got the Honda.  Having a ball with it.  But, I still have a burning urge to buy a BMW, a used one, likely a late 70s or 80s vintage bike.   It is kind of funny, I'm in my mid 60s and feel like a kid in a candy store when it comes to bikes.

I had a KZ1000, But it was a crashed bike w/o a front end or working motor....so I parted it out.

I'd probably go with a more dual sport kind of bike. I've been having my eyes on the Super Tenere for some time now. Really great bike.

I've already got mine:

Of course I love my Honda's too............. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Been a Honda guy since I was about 13 years old. In 1999 I bought a Harley Wide Glide. Older non Honda bikes I would like to have: Kawasaki Z1 900 and Suzuki GS1100. If I had plenty of money and could go with a brand new bike I might be temped to try one of the new Bimmers.

Here's my 97 Wide Glide.

Give me a Manx Norton, or in case of supply side difficulties, an Aermacchi 350.

Or both.

That's right Simon, I have a mate who saved up and bought one in 2005, he's still got it as it's his "Superannuation", but he doesn't ride it much as it's a bugger to start, and has all the issues you'd expect from a 1950's British bike.

Of course, anything can be made better, so if you could buy one of the Aussie built Irving Vincents, with 1600cc and 160 BHP, in a stiff frame with modern tyres and brakes, I don't think you'd be too unhappy.............. ;D
