Topic: Will this part work on a 750 k6

Rear wheel dampers on a k6. The ones I pulled out were separate pieces though, this is saying these will work on a k6 as well? Anyone tried these instead of the individual pieces? Thanks

So by the parts fiche all you will know is what frame serial number the part was changed. The later part may very well work in the earlier hub, and I've probably done it, but cannot say with 100% certainty that they are interchangeable. I am sure someone has tried this by now?

That's what I was hoping for as it would literally be half the price of having to buy 4 of the Left and Right pieces. But just wanted to check before I rolled the dice or paid out the a**. Thanks again for you help, I know the double thread thing got confusing. I didn't realize I made a new thread until after the fact and it won't let me erase the second or first one. I guess I need to be a more contributing member, or is that something only moderators can do?

I wouldn't sweat it too much. I think once a thread has been responded to you loose the option to delete the thread, unless you are a moderator. Every now and then we'll get a member that will post identical threads on every board in the hopes of getting a faster response which ends up being six or eight or ten (or more) identical threads. The "new unread" feature at the top of the page makes that kind of effort a little heavy handed, but even long time members will inadvertently generate a redundant thread from time to time.

I believe you have the option to "lock" one of the threads, which would stop any further posting within that particular thread. Maybe lock the first (shorter) one?

Yeah, I'll give that a try if I can figure out where the lock button is haha

I copied the links from the first thread and pasted them into my response above. I then deleted my response to the first thread so you may have the option to delete that one now. If not, like I said, I wouldn't worry about it.

Hopefully someone here knows for sure whether the later cush drive will work in an earlier hub without issue.
