New from Northern CA
« on: July 29, 2016, 10:52:49 AM »
Been stalking too long, time to register and introduce myself.  FAR Northern CA resident, about an hour and a half from the OR border on the coast.  Mostly been into dirt bikes or enduros until now, but always liked the classic street bikes so I finally bought one.  Just purchased a '70 K0.

Never been that far north when I visited CA, hear it is beautiful.  Must be a great area for dirt biking, that is if there are any open areas for riding.   the shop manual is downloadable from this site if you need it, and welcome...Larry

Greenjeans works. Haha, it's an early '70 K0 pretty much all there just needs painted stock color and some other issues addressed before starting. I'm pretty stoked.

Hey Larry, we already have a member named Greenjeans. You of all people should appreciate the artistic touch when applied to photos. ;D
Shifty, you must be near Eureka?

Yep,  I am green with envy :P.....  Sophomoric humor aside,  it does look as though there is a good foundation there...Larry

EPD cleared out a huge homeless camp and now they just roam around town at all hours and commit stupid crimes. Here check out our local news: lostcoastoutpost.com it's a little unnerving.

I saw the same type of thing in the SoCal high desert in the late '80s/early '90s. I suspected that the San Bernadino PD was giving the homeless a 1-way bus ticket to Barstow, just to get them out of the city and into the remote parts of the county, where they would be someone else's problem. ???

Yeah, I used to have a buddy that worked for law enforcement and lived in my town that would pick them up and take them back to Eureka but now he's a baliff in Eureka court system so they're migrating up our way faster. Pretty much sucks, we've considered moving to your area more than once, I love AZ.
