Hi everyone!
I've been searching for a CB750 project for a while. I had been riding an 84' Nighthawk 450 up until this past weekend when I picked up my 1974 CB750 for $750. It has 14,658 miles on the odometer, but I'm unsure/DOUBTFUL that that's accurate.
I've attached a couple of pics. I'm the bald guy on the left in the second image (the three other friends came with me to pick the bike up...literally and figuratively). Also some pics of the problems that I'm working on addressing. The toothless reduction gear for the starter and a broken light socket (fun with old bikes!). However the old girl starts on the first kick and has smooth acceleration. It's my first bike of this vintage and I'm unsure whether the engine sounds great for a SOHC Honda or sounds like a bag of hammers about to explode...
