For rear sets, I find Suzuki GSXR rear sets work great and you can pick up a pair for under $100.. A little cutting and a little welding, a little polishing and you are golden. The photo is a set of GXSR's I use.
Terrozzi sets don't allow for adjustment. They put your feet too high which make someone 5'10" practically sitting on the rear part of the tank. I would avoid these.
For a cheap DIY installment:
You could go to your local motorcycle parts yard or local mechanic and search through their milk crates to find rear sets or parts you can use.
You will need left and right shift levers and linkage. You can find a couple of bolts to match the inner diameter of the shift and brake lever at a hardware store. A tight fit keeps them from being sloppy. You can take your original foot peg and weld the bolt right behind the square spring box on the peg after you cut off the old. insert your brake and shift levers through the bolt and put a nut on them to hold in place. Weld a round piece of strong tubing (an inch or two) to the bottom side of your existing rear foot bracket, for me the best placement is 2" to 3" forward of the existing hole. Put the bolt through and add another nut on the end and tighten to hold the foot peg and lever. Hopefully your exhaust isn't too high?
On the right side stock brake lever, cut off the arm all the way down to the end so you have only the clamp part. Weld on a piece of flat stock steel so it rises about three inches. Here you can drill a hole for your linkage to mount. On the shift side you can do something similar or find a Honda clamp that already fits. The linkage may need to be cut and welded.
I have also taken my original foot peg, removed the rubber, then cut to reduce the length of the peg. Also cut the length of the rubber. Glue it back on and you now have a smaller, less protruding peg.
Break away is important, if your peg ever hits something with the slightest force, it will snap an aluminum foot peg easy.
