I bet it will be inspiring show. I have no cable either but I assume I can catch up some point with Amazon Prime or Netflix.
I like all those stories about how a company started very small and grow.

I have no respect for the company now though.

Doesn't start until Sept 5, so you have time to get it.

Me too. I don't know how accurate the replica bikes they'll be using are compared the real thing but if they truly are exact replicas then I'll be watching to see what they sound like and how they run. HD's aren't my thing but that doesn't mean I don't think they're cool.

Geez I hope it makes it to my cable network across the pond, I'd love to see it! ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

I'm really diggin what I've seen of Harley and the Davidsons so far.

Really action packed, drama, and plenty of drinkin.

But somethin about the sound effects.  It comes across as another generic motorcycle sound ala walking deads cb750 "noise".

I was really hoping to hear the distinct brappapapapabraaap pop that I remember hearing at the antinque shows.

Yeah I've really enjoyed it as well. Just turned the finale now! Some of it is a bit off historically I think. Not 100% sure though.

What really turned me off harley davidson (aside from being a cruiser type)

The local custom shop turned me away when I was hoping to have my tank lined.
Guy looked at my cb and said "no metrics"
I asked if they line tanks for other bikes, guy said "yeah, not metrics"

So that harley attitude really killed it for me.

Yeah, but it's a two way street mate, you won't find too many Honda shops that'll work on Harley's either. ;D

The soap opera has ended. It was a pretty good series. Wonder if they will pick up where they left off in the future with more of the story and drama like WW11 era and the AMF years plus the Jap tariff period etc..  Stay tuned---------

PS-Wish they could have crammed in just a few more adds- My finger is worn out from jumpin' the controller around  ;D

I could understand if I was at NW harley davidson destination.

But a speed shop run by an old outlaw biker type is just a smh situation.

I will not watch it because it says "Harley Davidson",
sorry Terry,
but I was totally turned off to harleys when I went to a local dealership so he could consider buying a new harley. We parked our
Japanese bikes out front and a "no salesman" came out and started yelling at us to park the "Japanese siht out back".
Needless to say, neither one of us bought a harley, nor will ever deal w/them again.

Someone gave me a harley once, and I sold it to a kid for $1.00 to get it off my property the same day.
I hate the harley attitude that much.

Wow, really surprised things can get that extreme. For a big boy, you're guy sure had a childish attitude. We all like a gentle dig now and then, but two wheels is two wheels as far as I'm concerned. Heck, some of my best mates ride scooters!

Harley's haven't been my thing either, but as I get older I have to admit they're getting more appealing - never say never. Problem over here is they're so bloody expensive, a twenty year old Harley costs as much as a modern sports bike two or three years old.

Damn, have I really just admitted that in public? ;D

Harleys are great bikes, but it's people who give them a bad name. Looking down your nose at Jap bikes isn't just confined to some Harley people, in fact some Italian bike owners are probably the worst.

Back in 1980 I had just bought my second CB750, a K1, that needed some work. There was a Ducati repair shop around the corner from where I worked in Lidcombe, in NSW, so I walked in, and asked the proprietor, Ian Gowanloch, if he fixed Jap bikes? He just laughed and said, "Yeah, we'll fix it alright, with some petrol and a box of matches!" and his dopey mates all had a big laugh at my expense.

I ended up taking it to a Triumph guy, Lenny Henderson-Smith, who was a great Triumph mechanic, but not so good on Honda 750's, as it turned out. He was happy to give it a go though, and he told me that the great Ian Gowanloch used to work at Frasers Ducati until he was caught stealing parts and selling them, and did time in jail for it.

Lenny wasn't the best 750/4 mechanic, but at least he was honest, unlike that arsehole Gowanloch, who's still in business today, as I just discovered. I don't mind Ducati's, especially modern ones (old bevels look nice, but are sh1t build quality) but I wouldn't ever buy a bike from Ian fcuking Gowanloch. ;D
