Roadside pictures
« on: August 11, 2016, 09:10:24 PM »
For all you shutterbugs.  I see lots of roadside shots of the bikes, but in my travels I don't think I've really ever encountered a good place to pull off and do something like that.  Usually it's either too many cars (lot of traffic in Western Washington), not enough shoulder, or some combination thereof.

What's your secret?

I have 4 bikes just raring to go - would love to get stills of them but I'm wracking my addled mind about where and when I'd do it.

Is it basically, park the bike, cross the road, take the shot, then get back on and go about your business?

Skyline drive has dedicated pull overs but you nailed it.  See my picture of windmill in scavenger hunt, I had to stop so fat the windmill is barely visible.
