Just figured I´d post the link to the tip concerning kickstarts getting blocked or semiblocked by rearsets.

If anyone needs one of these kickstarters I just found one this weekend left over from my 1977 F model.  It's in great shape, $20 plus shipping, just PM me if interested!  Mike

man am i glad to see that, i have rask rearsets but i havent put them on because i cant use the kicker. i was just going to cut and weld the stock part on my 74 cb750k but now i can keep the nice original part.

You can heat and bend your kick start to fit your needs. I did this with a brake lever to get qround some silly exhaust. You need a map gas torch and a big wrech for leverage. You will need to have it rechromed afterwards. If you are painting it black then you have no worries.

Do the heating and bending right on the bike. DO NOT QUENCH IT! As this will case harden the kick starter making it brittle.
