How to mount rear shorty fender?
« on: August 13, 2016, 11:42:35 PM »
Hey everyone, I have a cb750 k5 that I'm intrested in adding a shorty fender like the pictures attached below. I have no idea how to do this and am hoping somebody who's done this before might be able to walk me through the process. Currently I bought a front fender for a 1979 cb750 that I'm planing on chopping up so I can use it as a rear fender. The back of my k5 has a steel hoop that I think I might be able to tap some threads into so I can bolt the fender to the underside of the hoop. I'm pretty firm on the desire of having this mounted EXACTLY like the pictures attached. So if you have any information that might help me I greatly appreciate it. Thank you!

I used a front Harley fender, modified it, and installed it by welding a flat plate on it, and welding a corresponding strap across the rear hoop. Drilled two holes, and mounted it up.
