Just curious how many people make a living selling bikes / parts here?  I sell stuff to help pay the bills and keep food on the table, but don't consider myself a professional seller.

I build things for bikes. It's outfitted a full out machine shop that we parlayed into designing and building parts for security systems and shielding for the nuclear industry. For the first two years, made a living on glass seats, and rear sets.

Very cool!  How is business?

Busy busy. Got one of my Bridgeports retrofitted today to run it full CNC, have a VMC on the way, and getting ready to build a bigger shop this fall. No complaints. Motorcycle parts have been good to us, and it's a blast traveling all over to shows!

I met a guy that had a vacuum molding machine, he was making parts for street rods and custom cars, He wanted product ideas. That was a few years back.

Ha, no. He's talking about his CB500, on the XS forum, and, of course, his model wife.

My wife is a model also....if a model exists of a woman with glue and paint on her fingers, that 's her.

I went to my freshman homecoming dance with a not-then-but-in-the-future-model.

Turned out I was the revenge date since her boyfriend and her were fighting at the time.
