Hello,

I'm trying to rebuild the left hand switch and I can't remember where this biggest spring is meant to go. Everything else is ok, I think. If you can spot an error please feel free to tell. Bike is cb750 k2.

Spring was with horns other parts. I just can't remember the exat place. Inside the housing or between the horn button and housing? That second picture where are the internals of the horn is also a little mystery. I put it that way but I don't know if it's correct. I have a feeling that the spring should be in there also but I'm not sure.

That doesn't go in the switch. Best guess it would be for a right side switch - that holds the throttle (over the thumb screw)

I'm 100% sure that it is from the left switch. I disassembled both switches to seperate places and kept it that way. This spring is not as big as the thumb screw spring on the right switch. This is maybe 6mm high and has about 5mm diameter.

looks bigger in the photo.... I don't remember a spring that large in the left hand switch.

I have some old switches I can tear apart this evening and see if 2 springs pop out

Should have a spring for the horn and a spring behind the ball bearing for the turn signal.

Spring for the horn should mount between the stop/contact plate and the part of the horn button that stays on the inside of the switch.

On the K2 there are 2 springs like that on the left, if you have the "turn beeper silence" switch. One goes on the horn button, the other goes on the "silence" button. The turn signal switch has tiny springs in it for the little ball detent, but they are not that big.

I have only two buttons on the switch. Horn button and then the turn signal slide arm. Nothing else.

Stop/contact plate? Is it that metal thing visible in the last picture? So between that and the horn assembly.

Pics would always be helpful (should have snapped a couple myself) so if you got the time to take that spare switch apart it would be appreciated.

Is it possible to have a photo if you have a spare switch? If you have the time to open it.

Got the switch back on the bike. How this horn button is meant to work? I slide it to the right and it lights the high beam. I think it must be for passing, but the button doesn't do anything else. Slides only right. Is it ment to be pushed also? Horn is good, I checked it. Button just doesn't work.

Button should push in to operate horn, usually connects two wire together Black and light green

I think I solved this springs location. Now that horn button is pushable too. Here is a photo if someone else needs guidance someday.
