So what about someone who takes a revolver to a gunfight with an opponent who is armed with an auto? Or maybe a machine-gun? Man, those old sayings are great, but they need to be upgraded, or they're about as useless as taking a knife to a gunfight, ha ha!  ;D

on the other hand if one is more accurate with a revolver then it would be as good if not better than an AK-47
most prefer the spray and pray method of shooting, I prefer accuracy over ammount of ammo

Yeah, if somebody is unloading an AR-15 (with baby-sized .223 projectiles) and can't control it, the guy with the .45 (goliath projectiles) will take him down.  Yes, I'm aware you can get a Beowulf conversion for the AR which turns it into a .50 cannon, and I can only say that if the assailant has that kit, DUCK!

Don't most (U.S.)Officers approach a suspect (as in the very last demonstration) with their guns already drawn and ready?  I can recall being pulled over and being greeted by an Officer with gun in hand asking for my License and proof of insurance (of course, this was the outskirts of Atlanta,GA) 
I, personally, would attempt to evade and defend before trying to draw my weapon.

i forgot how loud my gun was until i fired off a few rounds without ear protection yestarday and still have a little fuzzyness in the left ear (felt deaf for about 12 hours on both sides)

Stupid me

Now Terry, didn't they issue you guys those little rubber earplugs?  And didn't they give you some silly advice like 'make sure to have them in before you start shooting'?
