The idea of this thread is to provide a place for you to link to your favorite threads on this site.  I hope you will join in.

I have been doing some searching for the story of a young fellow who rode an old Honda from Arizona to NYC and I finally found it.  I knew it was on this site, but couldn't remember the details to find it.  Got lucky with Google search tonight.

Google will let you limit your search to a particular domain with the "site" parmameter like this:  site:forums.sohc4.net nyc desert

Here is the link to the story on this site:
http://forums.sohc4.net/index.php/topic,41994.0.html

For the guys who may not have been around back then, or just didn't see this story, you might enjoy this epic story.

Again, the idea of this thread is to provide a place for you to link to your favorite threads on this site.  I hope you will join in.

Kirk

I'm trying to find a brilliant narrative on the history of motorcycle charging systems and night riding.  Not sure it was an sohc4 post.  But ya'll hopefully recognize some of the bits I remember.

Now I re-read it, it doesn't have quite the same impact. Fenders was a guy, much like JWylde, who divided opinion with his arrogance and BS, but at least he was a trier I guess - and didn't delete his threads. Personally I found him both amusing and irritating all at once :)
