I need to send a pic to PS us in. We were at the bar down the street :-[

My darling Bride's name is Dina, for the record.

This pic is almost at the right angle and contains the better looking of the two of us.

*Edit - I didn't know it was picture time ;) Wouldn't have missed it for the world. But, Moose Drool is a really good beer, so . . .

I think Gene was having a respite from the sun and treating his burn with alcohol.

Whatever works! Actually we went to the Tavern and had a drink then some chicken fried steak across the street. BTW - that burn? Turns out I am allergic to UV rays. Finally diagnosed - so now I have to wear UV protective gear. But at least I know.

Allergic to the sun ... well that does kind of suck.

Glad all you folks had fun, and made it home safely !

Although quite envious, I've enjoyed reading along with your adventures.

Down the street, in town - the Tavern, I don't remember the name. Across from THAT was chicken fried steak.

That tavern on the edge of town near camp, with the patio on the river looked like a good place.

Mooshie, great photo with good clarity, you caught Jerry (RX) blinking.  That one will photoshop easier to put Dina & Gene's bike in it.  Got a good upper torso shot of you Gene, while photoshop'ing should have you peering over her shoulder at an angle...w/no lower body in photo...an easy clue it is a chop job...)

Had an old Fuji A500 digital camera I screwed up over the weekend taking photos of my CX500 motor still in pieces... Was moving rear cover (very large) with camera in left hand holding cover with fingers extended and right hand slipped off it. Trying to catch it before it hit the concrete I struck the side of the extended lense on the cover white catching it. (didn't want the sealing surface to get a ding potentially causing sealing issues)
That was all she wrote.  Camera was fantastic at no flash low light...truely fantastic... My Canon Powershot SX150is really is grainy/noisy image with no flash as the 1600 ISO and 800ISO don't perform well. I had not seen any good reviews of the SX150is before buying it on sale on-line during a Black Friday.

Hope you are having a great time on your trip.  When are you heading home? (I need to catch up on your blog.)

Man, oh man I wish I could have made it to the reunion.  Waiting on tools and parts to finish up the CX refresh/update... (money shortage with bill for books and school fees ($500) due next Tuesday when I start classes and my 20 month training/education for the next job when I grow up...)

Id like to go back to and have a day trip to the 4 corners.   And another ride on the "twisties" or several.  LOL

The ride to 4 Corners was pretty boring. The ride from there to Monument Valley was pretty good. Just straight desert, but you ride past the rocks that Disney adjusted to look like Cadillac fins in Cars.

This won't be my last post on this thread but I wanted to say a couple of things.
2 weeks ago we left Delores and I'm still thinking about the trip.
Mooshie isn't even home yet.
You all gave Dina her moment when she held the flashlight while you replaced FattMatt's condensor and started the bike under the night sky.
Normally all she hears is me swearing and throwing things. You showed there is calm in mechanic actuation.
It couldn't have been a more scenic spot.
The kindness and camaraderie were wonderful.
Plus ya'll are a bunch of damned bikers.
Thank you, Danny especially and everyone else who made the trip and/or encouraged us on this thread and in general.
It was a special event for me as the majority of my riding is commuting and the occasional wave from a fellow ridee. Mostly as I'm getting out of their way.
BTW - met a 72 black 750 in Huntington on Monday . . . member here?
Anyway, thank you all for the forum. This was a blast. Hopefully not my last meet.

If I recall correctly, after standing up and seeing the group of people behind me, I said "Whoever was holding the flashlight was doing a very good job", or something along those lines. ;D
When I was about 12 years old, the older kid next door got a Ducati 250, and it was my job to hold the flashlight while he tried to set the points. That was my introduction to Zen and the art of motorcycle repair. ;D
