Judging by how I felt this morning there were far fewer on the table when we all went to bed!

Budman and OG

I made it back to Durango.  It was great meeting everyone.  Wish I could have stuck around a little longer.  The ride to Telluride with Danny was awesome.  Incredible views wherever you looked.

Looks like there was a good time had by everyone and some good riding. So, how are we going to Photoshop you into the pic Gene?
Going to need a caption to identify everyone.

Safe travels on your return trip(s) home...

Enjoy the sights, sounds, tastes and smells along the way...  unless you are riding downwind of a pig farm or chicken farm...  (It will be hard not to be experiencing the smell of a pig farm if you are riding through Indiana, more pigs than people in Indiana...) ;D :D

I think it's a toss up between Danny, Terry (tlbranth), and myself. Not sure how far it was for Frank.

We clocked about 1750 miles from Indianapolis but we wandered around a bit.

Frank had a 2000 km distance if he were to take the most direct/fastest route used by a mapping program like Mapquest or Google Maps.
If I recall correctly ....
Looked at his distance when he had the late start.

Outside my hotel last night in Fair deal, CO. Elevation hit me hard this morning and had me throwing up the water I drank when I woke up. Shook it off and headed out. The advice I received on jetting was spot on. 10k feet and no issues. Source a float bowl screw a couple hours in. Only issue now is I think the hotel didn't give me my license back when I checked in as it isn't in my wallet or any pockets.

Those panniers sure came in handy.

Checked into Dolores riverside campground this afternoon at 2pm for 2 days. I was thinking everyone would be staying for the night of the 17th. Nearly burst into tears when the lady at the office told me all the Honda guys checked out this morning. What a DUNDERHEAD am I. Was so looking forward to meeting you blokes.
Guess things could be worse. It is a nice place to be, especially after the Yellowstone National Parking Lot which was a bitter dissappointment.
Anyway might just get plastered. Hope the reunion was a hoot.

Made it home safe and sound.  A mere 350 mile trip for me.  Still in awe from watching Jerry, Frank and Scott work on some of the bikes while there.  What a wealth of knowledge there!

We drove up the Million Dollar Highway to Ouray today.  Spectacular views.  The bike is loaded up for the trip back to Texas at 0:dark30 tomorrow morning.
