www.costanoa.com

This place should have plenty of accommodations available from tent camping to luxury hotel rooms. Ideally situated near epic motorcycling of all sorts, restaurants, breweries, beaches, etc. Weather should be pretty ideal in November. Pimpzilla approved.
So much to do, so little time.

That place is not far from Palo Alto (south of Bay area) and it has a median income of 91x,xxx.   Not that you are going to live there.

Yes, you could stay in those luxury accomodations, if you can afford it.  Gorgeous place for certain.
California has so many beautiful places to experience.

You guys really should start a new thread for this discussion. There are likely other people from the west coast and southwest that might be interested that won't be reading the comments for a thread about an event that already happened.

I read your comment as 91k/year at first and thought "Yeesh! Who's got that kinda money." Then I reread it and saw the extra zero. Yowza!

At a place with taste and class to serve in that nice ?growler/mug/stein?  Your kitchen I presume Frank?
Good you two got together...  hope it was fun.
Did he arrive by bike or car? Or bicycle?  If  by bike, has he gotten the duc out or the cafe interceptor out of the shop from their surgery?

I You probably could have bought every motorcycle I have ever owned (maybe 2 copies of each) for what his duc repair bill totalled.  I doubt I could afford the insurance on a 4-number Duc like that, much less the maintenance and ownership fees...  I am glad Jimmy has it, it suits him.
Hope you guys have lots of fun at MotoMeet and a few good beers as well.  It is OctoberFest time of the year...
The pumpkin spice flavored stuff is already out.. fall does arrive Friday.

The engine rebuild invoice on the 999R was sick. Head gaskets for "R" spec 999 engines are $800 so you can imagine what a full rebuild including Pistal HC forged pistons might end up. It's an amazing bike, but really?

Working on rebuilding the Interceptor engine before Family Reunion 2018

My memory is getting worse, used to be phenomenal memory, was thinking you had a 1098...
Yeah head gasket alone was price of one bike I bought!  ;) ;D
i like wrenching...as opposed to a few who would drop the r out of that word... :0
Did I really write that?
egads!

Glad the Duc is back on the streets.  Best of luck with the C.I.'s next evolution of engine work.  Thinking about employing Mike R to redo the head?  He does some fabulous work on Brent's race bike.

Regret not being able to make it to Dolores....

She would like the button version of the Moschino button biker bag in your search...please be seated when looking that one up, I would hate for you to fall and hurt yourself.

Oh course, instead of regular buttons, it should be adorned with location specific buttons from destinations and places visited...

Ha ha, really?  I could have another SOHC-4 for the cost of that handbag.   :o What are they thinking?  Maybe when I can't ride anymore I will make one out of my leather jacket

So BD. Any plans for next year? There's a Naked Goldwings get-together in Deadwood SD sometime next summer. How about a joint venture?

That sounds interesting Terry. I'm trading e-mails with a guy with a '75 750F right now that I might buy and there have been several really cheap GL1000 and GL1100 GoldWings around the Chicago area lately.

When next Summer?

DonR was going to Sturgis for Bike week there with the Harleys right?  He had planned a giant loop but the bike started acting up and the seat was murder so he pulled the plug.
