CB750A with Sidecar

I'm adding a sidecar to my 750A and am curious if anyone else has a rig they ride and what its been like? I had the rig on a CB500T and the bike just was just a dog... which i didn't mind as I just rode around town but I did always wish to take it on longer rides but it just didn't have enough power for the expressway (if needed) and to run at 55-65 it was pretty much maxing out.

I'm hoping my purchase of the CB750A (which only sounds like it has about 5 more hp than the 500T had) will produce much better results for running a sidecar...

I assumed the A models would have similar HP to the K and F models (i had a 750F for a handful of years) but turns out they are very different. Would love to hear thoughts!

Lol, zx14 might work a little better.lol

No seriously, I don't think even an f2 has excess power for a sidecar.  I dont know much about the auto, only ridden a friends a very short distance, but far enough to know they are not very powerful.  Plenty of A guys here with info on how to get more power out of them.

I live 60 miles north east of Toronto, ON. Canada. A local club member puts a side car on his 750A every winter. He rides it to EVERY club meet. It’s become a tradition. Slush, snow, nothing stops him. He loves it and can tour at highway speeds. Go for it!

FYI... for anyone interested in doing a hack (sidecar)... the ADV site has unbelievably cool builds, lots of info and an entire section devoted to hacks.  Beware though... you will lose hours of your life marveling at the various builds. :)
