Looking at a '93 900rr

any known issues? anything I should specifically look out for? or any potential future repairs / rebuilds that I may need to budget for? it's got around 28k mi

Swap the front rim for a 17". Kaz Yoshima made triple clamps to increase trail....probably impossible to get now. Engines were pretty bullet proof....I have seen them pinned to the limiter in neutral time and time again.
 The cam chain tensioners suck.....only thing I can remember right now.

+1 on the 17 inch rim.  I think tire selection may be limited for 16 inch rims.  I have similar problems finding good rubber for the 18 inch rims on my 86 GIXXER. 
I did ride one 20 years ago and the riding position is very sportbikey.  GSXR, Ducati 916 like with similar seat, peg and bars positions.
It is a good handling bike and rewarding on twisty roads.
