I have been using this site as a reference for my current project for over a year and I was part of the old mailing list in the nineties when I bought my first bike, a 1976 CB750F. I drove that for around eight years before moving on to several newer non-CB bikes. I haven't owned a bike in a few years. In the summer of 2015 I was helping my Dad shuffle some things around his garage when I uncovered HIS first bike rusting away in the corner. It's a 1973 CB350F that he bought barely used from a neighbor in 1974. He rode it until 1982 when he moved on to other non-CB bikes and this little guy sat in a corner of his garage with random things piled on top of it. I hadn't seen it in so long I really had no idea he still had it. I asked him what he was doing with it, he said he had started working on it a few times over the years, but never really got anywhere... and if I wanted it, to take it.
I'm actually pretty far along with this restoration and am just getting to posting about it. It's time I started giving back to this community as it has been an invaluable reference. I'll start a project thread soon.
