1998 TRX300. Has a new starter, new solenoid, 12.8 volts at the battery, but solenoid just clicks. Any ideas?

"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of it's victim may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated, but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience." - C.S. 12.8 volts at the battery might be ok but is no indication of whether it can deliver the amps to spin a starter.

I'd get the battery load tested at an auto parts store - usually a free test.
