Great, i was worried about those pores that were there along with those lumps. For preparing the tank I actually added a step that I think should be considered with all tank liner kits, acetone. I used the whole kit per instructions but the degreaser, the first stage, was not cutting it. Maybe the POR15 kit assumes that there is no previous liner because the solution couldn't remove the bad liner even with sheet rock screws and washers rummaging around. So I looked up how to remove a tank liner and an eight year old on you tube with his 50cc Honda showed the best way, acetone. It completely liquified the previous liner and turned it into milk. I think it also eats rust but it left behind grey flakes (maybe metal). I pressure washed and rinsed whatever that was left behind and proceeded with the second solution, metal prep. The metal prep worked well left everything metallic looking and I rinsed out with water. I angled a hairdryer in the top the tank for an hour to get it really warm to the touch. Thinking over this again I'm wondering if acetone would have been a better drying agent, but the hairdryer worked. I did have some noticeable powdery flash rust inside and more towards where the hairdryer was directly making contact. The kit says it binds to flash rust so I poured it in after letting the tank cool off in a few. The picture I showed of the pores in the POR15 was where the highest concentration of flash rust was. I'm guessing that's what happens when it binds to rust. Anyways, any thoughts on Hondabonding my intake boot o-rings?
