Oil breather end

Hi guys, my bike (four 750 k1) is leaking oil from chain and spreading it all over the back of the bike in great quantity.

After investigations (i checked also the automatic oil greaser), I found that probably the reason is the breather (is this the correct name?) of the engine head cover.





Where is advisable to put the end of this?

Because the chain could be a good place since the leake is little, but if I make an elongation of the pipe, this will lead to go the wheel and that is not nice.

Is it normal that the breather is going to leak a lot with hot temperatures? my oil is Motul 5100 15w50 4T

It is not oil.  It is crank case vapor condensate, and it should drain on the right side of your bike, near the swing-arm pivot.

Most all are on the right side, including the carb overflows...
The 550 i just finished had a small wire holder to keep all tubes off to the right side of the tire...

If you have not plugged the auto chain oiler that is probably the bigger source of your oil leak.
