1981 CB650 Transformation.
« on: September 09, 2016, 04:42:03 AM »
I finally got around to having the carbs rebuilt and running great. Tank is a 1975 CB750. Seat is from my 1975 CB750 but has a 1974 tag under cit. I still have to change the petcock and fab some seat brackets but this is the new look. I plan to cut the rear fender and reduce the lights to LED later and its done!
I love to make my bikes worthless due to high mileage!

Somewhere a couple of us posted how to remove the fender from it's bracket and slide the rear part foreward so you can retain it's finished edge.
No matter how many times you paint over a shadow, it's still there.

That is what I had in mind, but have not looked that far ahead yet. Petcock, Tank level and then seat brackets. Then lights and fender. Any ideas of my first 3 plans???
