Vintage bike meet, Stockbridge, Michigan
« on: September 10, 2016, 06:24:38 AM »
I am gonna try and make it there. I have a weepy brake piston to repair and a busy Sunday morning ahead of me. Lots of nice roads in the area, lots of nice bikes in the town square. It is a Mid-Michigan location so chances to meet with other SOHC4 members. We had Pimpzilla along last year.

Saw this Flanders single, the owner was asking for donations for its restoration.

Sean, you beat me twice with the photos. I have a couple in my camera to download, the twin engine Triumph and the Indian straight 4. If I was quicker I would have got a video/sound clip of both. The Flanders pic is from my cheap phone, the whole story, very nice, in the linked blog.

How was your ride back on Dexter Trail?

No worries kevin.  I often find posting pics to be a chore.  I am not much good at digital stuff.  The ride home yesterday was flawless with very little automobile traffic, beautiful weather, excellent scenery...really cant think of a better way to spend the day.

I met Bob a couple of years ago at the Gilmore ride. He caught me oogling his twin engine Triumph drag bike.

I didn't get to study this Indian because I was a late arrival and the owner was an early departure. It sounds remarkably like a you know what.
