Was watching some recent documentaries on ISIS recruitment.  Indicated that this has all been made possible by having tech-savvy members..who use the Internet..particularly social media (Twitter..Facebook.et al.). to reach potential members.  That and the fact that apparently there are a lot of disillusioned people out there..trending younger..who feel they have nothing worthwhile in their lives to live for..and apparently buy-in to blowing oneself-up as at least something.  Saddening and pathetic. When I had to grow-up..post WWII..then returned from Viet Nam War..I was more than ready to "find sane meaning" in my life.  Think globalization..and that many under 30 nowdays who grew-up mainly with TV's and PC's as information/reality sources..may have been sensory-deprived..that there is really a larger functional world out there.

As far as addressing the ISIS situation: Suggest going after the posts and misinformation/propaganda being sent out over Internet..somehow??  My two-cents.

I know this thread was from yesterday, but I was in my car on the way to work listening to sports radio when one of the hosts broke about a report of a plane flying into one of the towers. At the time they didn't know it was a jumbo jet. i thought maybe it was another light plane flying into a building, which had just happened within the past year I think.

It wasn't until I go to the office and was able to see a TV in the break room that the real scope became evident. I was in and out all day and saw the towers come down on live TV.

Regarding the poll, I didn't choose because while I support bombing, the problem is that ISIS is not located on military bases. Bombing the #$%* out of them will kill tens of thousands of non-combatants, including many children.

I was putting a new roof on an older contractors house when his wife called and told us to flip on the TV.
I remember the Kennedy, and King assassinations, the feeling was similar.
There has always been unrest in the middle east...That could mean they were responsible ...or a convenient scapegoat. Depending if you believe that we were actually attacked by an outside group of terrorists.
In any event, I'm pretty sure that there are no more innocent adults living there anymore, how can there be, it's a shame that they would use their children as shields, but you can't save everyone...so, turn the place to glass.   Eliminate that threat forever.   Let them meet their maker and see how many virgins they can really have.
On a side note...Virgins nowadays are either butt ugly,or are just under 13 years old . They can have all the ugly ones they want. but  I think anyone who messes with kids should just be vaporized anyways.
I couldn't find a suitable answer to vote for either...wouldn't it be great to know the right answer that would cost no lives?

I was on top of a 5 story building dragging 8" pipe into the new mechanical room. I had a new work radio and was the only one listening so I spread the news to the job site as it developed.  I said if this is the shi7 I'm going to hear i don't want a radio. It was strange seeing no airplanes in the sky. Later in the day, Airforce 1 flew over with it's fighter excort, As they passed our area the escort peeled off to the sides and two new planes took over at the front. The other support planes followed behind.
