400/4
« on: September 13, 2016, 01:39:23 PM »
Hey guys,

Last year i 'built' an mr2 turbo from shell and wanted to do something similar with a motorbike this year...

I love my classics and ended up buying a 400/4 engine at a steal off a facebook forum!

So ive got my engine, got my bobber frame (made out of original 1977 400/4) and am now ready to start refurbing the engine to a good standard!

BUT i have absolutely no idea where to start! When i bought the mr2 engine it was just a case of pay someone to change the cambelt and give it a normal service and it made 262.4bhp on the dyno...

So this is what ive got upto now... And was wondering on peoples advice where to start? Point me in the direction of a 400/4 fanatic who knows everything there is to know and can tell me everything i need to know! Lol

Thanks guys!
