Cam chain T
« on: November 27, 2006, 02:25:33 PM »
I was just reading CBGBs post about cam chain tensioners and it got me thinking.
My 1970 CB 750 still has the same one as the day it was born.  Is this an item that should have been replaced at , say , 30 years?

from what I have gathered, if it looks good yet no, but if the wheels are all chewed up than yes.  mileage is a factor as well as if it has been adjusted correctly.

Thanks mwohlenhaus
Mileage is low and adjustment is good.
I guess I'll leave it for now.
