Yeah, I'm familiar with their process. It's all about creating tension, I'm sure it'll be a fun watch though. I'm always interested in hearing how the field producers approach the show and the work done by the folks behind the camera(s) in terms of the productions needs when on the fly, which is the way this show looks to be shot or at least portray. I'll try to catch up through 'On Demand' prior to your episode. Looking forward to it! :D Rick

Rick - I will answer any and all questions after the show airs tonight.   The show was shot straight through with only breaks for food due to union rules.

USMC5811 - So far what I have seen has been pretty accurate and real.  Will answer any questions after tonight about the debauchery.

The show was truly filmed in 3 days. Most of the builders didn't know until the show started that the bike needed to be ready for a test ride on Day 2.

JW - Since you were there, you know.  I hope that's a good nervousness!  ;) ;D

Yep!  The whole show was shot in 3 days with no breaks. The struggles are real, the budget was real, the time line was real...

I have to say that Yoshi doesn't like to sell his parts cheap, but he gave you a pretty good deal on that front end.  ;)

WOOOOO I WON!!!!! Glad I didn't let you all down!

Thank you all for the support! The SOHC4 Community is what started all this madness for me. I bought my first bike which was a '76 CB750F and you all helped me through getting it up and running while I built it in college. It has been a hell of a ride and continues to be one!

Did Dani Pajak do anything??  ??? He has no (or close to no) dialogue on screen.  Maybe he has a really crappy voice?  All he does is stand next to Brian Schaffran.
Schaffran doesn't get many lines, either.  They edited the hosts to make it more of the Roland Sands show.

It kind of sucks that they didn't give your competition the chance to swap the ignition and make it a runner. It WAS their mistake though.  I liked the fabrication on the other bike, but YOU actually followed the challenge of an Easy Rider-inspired chopper.  Well done!

The other two have had more screen time on earlier episodes, so it was just how this one was edited.
I give the other team credit for their fabrication, but the really didn't change the looks of the bike that much - could still see the lines of the donor bike.
The look of the back end looked "unfinished".
Running or not, I wouldn't have voted for it.
JW was the clear winner all around.

CB750 Cafe Racer Fan - Brian and Dani were the most involved of all the hosts and judges. They were on set most of the time and were filmed while we were building the bikes, but they did not use the footage in the final edit. My guess is due to Roland being a bigger name and pulling more viewers. But I am shooting at ghosts on why they are not featured more in the show. Craigs bike and what he did in 72 hours was impressive to watch.

USMC5811 - Thanks man!
