Just a heads up ,but if you do a search for Randakks he has a repair for the float support.Great build I love my 77 CB550F.I had a 73 CB500 when I was 16.Wish I still had that bike,It was my second Cafe Bike.

Don't know if you found braided cables yet but did this for a bicycle build stripped out some coax cable and covered the cable sheath. Also you can get automotive stainless steel braid. Oh this is a really nice build. I'm just starting on a 73 CB500 4.

That's a pretty cool trick, somthing like that might work for the throttle housing, but the rest need to have fluid so I'll end up trying to get all matching lines. But for bikes, and I deal with those too, I'll have to keep it in mind. Thanks.
