Fckn thieving baarstards. I don't care what it was, we all know how much time, effort, blood, sweat, tears and money it takes to create your ideal bike, however misguided we might think that may be. I hope they catch the cnut and string him up by his bollocks.

My bikes are in my garage. My garage holds some surprises for those who might venture in uninvited. The surprises I have conjured are, I believe, not totally legal.

I'll argue the toss afterwards in case of a dispute.

I hate thieves of any sort.

Unfortunately, Seattle is becoming one big heroin junky infested city. Thievery is nothing new and will get worse. Why? Because the mayor doesn't want to hurt anybody's feelings by calling these Sh@&!theads criminals. They get a slap on the wrist and let go to do it all over again the next day.

I don't see politicians sleeping, crapping, and peeing in my office door way every week.

It's more metaphorical Duanob.
I've been unfortunate witness to the way political government types take their sweet time sleepin on the job, sh!t all over people to push their agenda, and feed the piss to the public so they can get away with it.

I'd ally myself with a homeless nomad before I declare a truce with a political official any day.

As most rural people are likely to do. When you live in a crowded urban setting, the homeless are becoming a scourge. I feel for the person that wants a job and is just trying to keep his head above water but most of the homeless in Seattle are just bums plain and simple. They crap all over the place literally and metaphorically, they are stoned or drunk most of the time, they are rude and have no respect for anything, they don't want to work or make their situation better. They won't clean up their own messes which cost the city hundreds of thousands of dollars in hazmat and biohaz cleanup but they all line up to get their $300/month stipend and free methadone and we have to pay for it all. Sorry to rant but it's getting out of hand.

Duanob, I saw the camps last weekend.
It's packed tighter than the crowd at dunefest.
It's a startling phenomena.  The unbelieveable amount of homeless people.  Who have filled up the little open space left in Seattle.  I've only been away from the city for 4 years and this happened.
4 years to see a homeless population boom into an absolute crisis.
That's really startling.
I have questions about it myself.
I also have a massive amount of empathy.
Had I not been blessed with a lover and a family those years when I was struggling in Seattle.  Had I not been able to come home to roost at the family farm.  There is no doubt in my mind; I'd be camped out among them.
A mostly sober and sometimes clever guy who just couldn't earn the $36,000 annual minimum to "live" there.  Hell, I work six nights a week and I still don't earn $36k.  If I worked 6 days AND nights a week.  Not only would I be in constant agonizing pain, I would still be earning below 36k AND poverty level income.  Literally, I alone with my abilities, would have to pitch a tent if I was to remain in Seattle.
So Duanob, go count your blessings.  Be grateful you have the priviledge to see a homeless camp as a "nuisiance" and not the only home you have left to go to.
