Sponsor of Michigan's helmet law repeal dies in bike accident
« on: September 13, 2016, 05:17:00 PM »
Sad news no doubt, condolences to his loved ones.  And yes,... he WAS wearing a helmet.

Irony, much?
Can I have a motorcycle when I get old enough?
If you take care of it.
What do you have to do?
Lot’s of things. You’ve been watching me.
Will you show me all of them?
Sure.
Is it hard?
Not if you have the right attitudes. It’s having the right attitudes that’s hard.

There was a link at the bottom of the page for an article from 4 years ago about the repeal. note the motorcycle pictured: http://michiganradio.org/post/proposal-would-allow-motorcyclists-ride-without-helmet-michigan

An additional $20,000 in medical coverage is no substitute for a skid lid.

Ha Ha - At least they got good taste and picked a nice stock photo for their story Danny. Nobody on a Harley wears a helmet around my neck of the woods but most JAP riders do.

I don't see any irony there. Now if he wasn't wearing a helmet you could call it ironic.
