CB175 Kicker
« on: November 26, 2006, 07:45:16 PM »
My '70 CB175 didn't come with a kicker, so off to e-buy I went and found one.  It looks like the right part from the fiche, but it's sticking way, way out there.  Seems kinda wierd.  Is this thing right? Anyone out there with a similar bike?

Thanks, and that's a right nice bike you have there.  Was the kicker from a CL different? (Yes, I'm too lazy to look it up in the parts fiche right now)  I've always liked the CL exhaust and have thought about it as my exhaust is toast.  I'm just not sure of how it would be with my kids riding shotgun behind me - any passenger issues with it that you've noticed?  If they made a more compact kicker for the CL, maybe I'll try to track one down...

As the fates would have it, I have a couple of left CL sidecovers, but no exhaust.  As this is a long-term project getting longer, I'll just keep a look-out to see what pops up first: a CB or CL exhaust.
