Around here I see these listed for as high as $2500 with more miles and not nearly as clean. It's at 2 grand right now for the average Joe.

My 750 SOHC needs to be a chopper/bar hopper and I need a touring bike for my daily.

I have a buddy in Albuquerque that really wants an early GL. For that money he might be interested in driving up to get it.

I say keep it until late May.

 I got a deal on a 79, not as good as yours but after riding it to Sturgis and keeping it a year I love my wing. 85 mph all day long. I'm doing a bolt on paint job buying the burgundy body parts and putting the burgundy fairing on that I have.
 Don't keep it very long, or ride it very much,  you will be hooked.  In S Dakota I went 85 mph all afternoon. Goldwing don't mind.

Heard that...mine all bagged out was a mile eater at 80+, and more comfy than you could imagine.

I'm fond of my naked 77 GL1000 to Don. My 750's are nice but they don't compare to the Wang for a smooth, comfy ride. To be honest it's about to spoil me.

I was in the woods all week with zero cell reception and was hoping to come out and have my inbox loaded with inquiries but...that did not happen. This morning I parked it in town so all the people coming up the mountain to look at the leaves could see it. Hopefully it will catch someone's eye.

That bike will sell.

When it does sell,you'll probably get a very interested buyer who loves early GL's.Will you be bringing a keg over to your buddy who practically gave it to you ?  :D

Typically, Oct is a bad time of year to sell bikes, unless you are in a warm climate
