New member - but with wrong bikes
« on: September 18, 2016, 01:54:47 AM »
Hello,
I am Wolfgang from Vienna / Austria, 56 years old and restoring/collecting/building motorcycles. To be fair, it is mainly two strokes or Italian 4-stroke bikes yet, but I am very open to acquire a nice CB500/750.

I posted some pics of my recent BIMOTA replica build on this forum, although - again - is with an GT750 ("kettle") engine.

I am not going to poison your threads with two-stroke smell, but will watch and listen to learn as much as possible about CBs to be ready once I have found a good restoration basis.

I am posting a pic to the CB500 Four I owned 40 years ago. I still have the fiberglass tank and seat, and I would probably replicate that same bike again
