Spend most the afternoon cleaning up the car for the wife. Then she went out and found Bambi :(

Fortunately, it was the car and not while you and your wife were out for a ride on a bike!

Mercury  8)

I've hit a couple of deer over the years.  Looks like she got away with minimal damage

Everyone thinks Chuck Norris is bad, but Chuck Norris has not meet Lucky either.  Lucky will round house kick Chuck back to 1969 and pop a wheel with the 1st sandcast while shotgunning a PBR!

The hunters and farmers are starting to push them around now and soon the urge to breed will change their habits also. I'm seeing them more around here now.  As mentioned glad no one was hurt !!

Doesn't look to good but don't see anything going on that would make the car not driveable. Basically cosmetic damage. This happened right near my house during daylight hours and I'm up and down this road all the time on my bikes. So no doubt it could of been a lot worse!

BTW, did your wife claim the carcass so you could at least enjoy some Bambi-burgers while the body shop is taking care of the
car?  ;) :D

There is just one but very important rule:

Be lucky  ;)

Once the collision is inevitable, there is no time to do much, just hold on steady.

Glad everybody's OK.

I glad she's ok. That doesn't look too bad.

My mom hit a deer many years ago on a highway on ramp south of Chicago driving my father's 1995 Thunderbird. It caved in the passenger side A pillar and did sufficient damage that insurance totalled out the car.
