reattaching the carbs, air chamber and filter box
« on: September 20, 2016, 03:50:59 PM »
Good afternoon SOHC4 ers,
Due to my inexperience:
After spending the better part on an evening getting the air chamber in position on my cb350f, what a chore!!!!, I was looking at the carbs to intakes and here's the dumb question, I measure a short 1mm gap between the carb bodys and the rubber intakes (same across all 4). Is that correct?
Honda could have given us a little bit more space to Install that chamber I think!

Yeah.  that fit is a b!tch.
Be sure to remove the filter, the metal sleeve, and the plenum, before wiggling the airbox boots rearward, down and off the carbs.
If your hands are small enough, you can get one inside the filter box and into the plenum to help press the boots on the carbs.
