I am rebuilding a 1979 cb650 and i improperly replaced the battery. The new battery has its terminals on the opposite sides of the old one so in short i toutched the positive wire on the bike to the negative terminal on the battery. Sparks flew and i fried some sort of fuse attatched to the positive wire coming from the bike, does anyone know the name of this part or where i can find it?

Check out Hondaman's web site.   Mark sells a fuse replacement upgrade that uses modern blade fuses.  It is a direct plug and play and could be a solution for you.  I used this on my CB750 project
