While the carbs are off the bike, might want to bench synch them (if not already), set the float height, and install the correct jets based upon your induction and exhaust choices. If you're planning a stock airbox and stock exhaust, stick with stock jetting. If not, well, then grab a range of jets and plugs and prep for tuning time.

"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of it's victim may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated, but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience." - C.S. Lewis

Hi, if you dont already have a carb Synch, buy one, you will need it, trust me  :D
(The "MOTION PRO SYNC PRO CARBURETOR SYNCHRONIZER" works great)
Cheers!

I'd go with the Carbtune if you're getting a sync tool -- those Motion Pro tools develop air bubbles and flutter pretty quickly in my experience. The Carbtune isn't much more (maybe cheaper, dunno where the pound is these days) and it uses stainless steel rods, so it's portable.
