Carb Drain Plugs
« on: October 11, 2019, 08:27:06 AM »
Does anyone know if the carb drain plugs on the CB400F (054A) are the same as on early 750Ks? (Can’t remember the model)

The 75-77 400F looks to be the same as the 69-76 750k and f drain screws.

The 400 ones have a very fine pitch thread, sorry I don't have the spec but it's not found at typical hardware stores that do stock metric. And the 400 ones drain fuel through the middle of the screw, some other carbs use the screw as a valve and drain from the overflow... these types will not interchange very well.
