Are These the Correct Rear Pegs?
« on: October 01, 2016, 10:53:02 PM »
I'm taking it all for powder shortly, but I'm wondering if I've got the correct left passenger peg.  This bike went down on the left side and I want to make sure this wasn't just a replacement part that fit as opposed to the correct part.  The end is damaged like it's been there for the crash, but the bracket looks different than the ones I'm seeing on eBay.  They generally both look like the one on the right in the photo (mirror images, of course.)  The bike is a '76 CB550F.

Do I go with this bracket or buy a replacement?  I want to replace the peg either way, so no trouble buying the whole thing.

That left side bracket is from a CB500, I would definitely get the correct one (mirror image of your right side one) before paying for powder coating!

Thanks, John.  That's what I thought - wrong bracket.
