Well, as Austin Power's dad said in "Goldmember"..

"...there are just two things in life that I detest, despise and piss me off to death: number one is those people who doesn't tolerate other cultures, nationalities or races, and number two is the dutch"  ;D

You feeded the troll for so long. Since I had my share with the gun debate and the Vegemite joking that turned into name calling, I prefer to stay aside from any controversy here. When you don't feed the trolls they end up leaving and going somewhere else.

You know, among us, different countries, different cultures, different ideas, &
different likes/dislikes are represented but, we have 1 common interest and that is Motorcycles,
ESPECIALLY the Honda SOHC4's. That's where we all pretty much come together. You have to
have some tolerance but, not just cave in when someone gets completely out of line. We
should all have respect for the other person and vice versa. I don't know where a more tolerant
site is, except maybe in his own head.

All I can say is "LONG LIVE THE SOHC4 CREW" ;)

& Thank You To Bob and the Moderators. ;)

                                                      Later on, Bill :) :D

In this world, there are some people who spend 1/2 of their time offending the sensibilities of others while spending the other 1/2 acting oppressed and misunderstood because others have been offended.

Guys,

In my line of business I must deal with attitudes daily.  Over the past 10 years in my profession I have found that no matter how good an attitude you develop for yourself, you don't live in a vacuum.  All around you are people who have negative attitudes towards life.

There's really nothing you can do about it.  Just as how you are going to find bad drivers, no matter what road you take, you're going to find people who have an unenlightened view of life.

The key is not letting people pull you down to their level.

So, I've only been a member of this fine club since February. Have there always been s__t stirrers pop up on here, only to disappear a short time later? Since I've been here, there have been three that I remember. Or is this a new phenomenon?

For the record, I love you guys!  ::) ;D

Very few actually.

I think that we have had to ban only 3 members in 18 months.

Beans.   I used to enjoy fencing when I still had a body that worked.  However~ There's just no sport in getting into a battle of wits with an unarmed man.

Sorry Burmashave it may be the Rye clouding my thoughts here but I don't really follow you...are you comparing Fink to Madonna or Manson? If so I couldn't agree more...all 3 are no talent hacks who at best manage to shock "some" people but for those of us who aren't quite so delicate it's hard to even pick them up as a blip on the radar...another similarity is I have never bought one of the artists' cd's nor did I buy any of Fink's B.S.!!  ;)

Let me put it a different way.  I have no respect at all for people who actively annoy other people and then complain when those people get annoyed.  Maddona and Marilyn Manson have elevated this to a lucrative artform.  Madonna tries very hard (it gets ever harder) to offend people's sexual mores and then calls the offended "prudes."  Manson offends and then whines depressingly about how he is "misunderstood."  Without shock value, both of these no talents would be where they belong. Yet, these two performers -- and others like them -- whine endlessly about the fact that people are shocked by their actions.

In Ratfink's case, as is true of many of the same ilk, he tried to offend, and now he whines that we are not "tolerant."  If you want to live on the edge, pay the price, babe.

I thought you were talking about CHARLES MANSON ;D
