Wow, this opens up a whole new avenue for me in terms of drag racing use. Possible air shifter ignition kill, retard for nitrous and other useable parameters. I'm wondering if the ignition retard function is progressive and can be staged.
Yes for me its perfect as I have a CB with turbo.. and around peak torque already at 5500-6500 rpm it tends to detonate a bit at 15psi. It needs way less ignition but all the aftermarket ignitions are still at 25-30 degrees, unless I set base timing at TDC....which sucks.
If you look at this picture you can see that you can program the ignition value as a function of RPM and IAP(Intake absolute Pressure) in KPa (Kilo Pascal pressure) which means your boost.
So this means your retard is determined by the amount of pressure/ boost measure by the pressure sensor (Kpa).
You can select wether you want IAP+RPM or TPS+RPM or just RPM.
Next to that you can also just retard a preset fixed value by activating an imput to the ignition.
